Kyiv Classic Orchestra Performs «Prayer for the Healthcare Workers»
On 24 February 2026, on the occasion of the National Day of Prayer, a state and interfaith sectoral event titled “Prayer for the Healthcare Workers” took place.
At the Transfiguration Cathedral, a chamber ensemble of the Kyiv Classic Orchestra presented a specially curated musical program. A central highlight of the performance was the composition "Father, Our Mighty, Our Only" (Prayer for Ukraine), which resonated with exceptional grandeur and solemnity within the magnificent setting of the cathedral.
The event brought together representatives of senior clergy, the healthcare sector, military medicine, civil society organizations, as well as heads and chaplains of medical institutions, all united to honor the memory of fallen healthcare workers and to express gratitude to those who continue to save lives every day.
